Nicole Semerjian '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole Semerjian. I am currently a sophomore at Marple Newtown High School in Pennsylvania. I have played softball since I was very young and have learned so many valuable lessons from the game. My goal is to continue playing softball both in high school and on my travel team. Ultimately, I would like to be the best student athlete I can be and continue playing softball in college.

There are many reasons why I enjoy playing softball. I enjoy competing and being part of a team. There is nothing else like it. Playing a team sport has helped develop me physically and mentally. It has required me to continue to push myself to improve, grow and get stronger. Playing on a team teaches you about working effectively with others. I have had the chance to play for amazing coaches and with talented athletes. I have learned so much from my experiences and developed many close friendships. In addition to training and developing my skills on the field, I have developed strong communication, leadership and time management skills. I believe all of the skills and lessons softball has taught me has helped me become a better student in the classroom and prepared me to be successful academically in college.   

I believe I have the abilities, talent, dedication and grit to compete successfully on a college team. In addition, I have the work ethic, energy, positivity, compassion and commitment to others which will make me a good teammate.
