Jazlynn Campbell '25 Recruiting Profile

In college, I am looking for a school that will prepare me for going professional in the performing arts industry, but also one that will allow me to continue playing softball. Softball has been a huge part of my life since I was 6, and I intend to continue playing as long as I can. I play field hockey as well, but softball has always been my main sport. I believe I am a strong player and great teammate. Through being a field hockey goalie and a center-fielder, I have grown to be loud and communicative on the field. I always lift my teammates up, and as a center-fielder, I am willing to attempt dives and slides to make catches. I am an aggressive, yet smart, base-runner, and a reliable and smart hitter in the lineup with a high OBP. Academically, I always strive for my highest quality work and having that reflected in my grade-book. I have been in all honors and AP classes since freshman year, taking AP Calculus AB and World History as a freshman and AP Calculus BC and US History as a sophomore. In my junior year, I have my 4 core classes lined up to be AP classes. I also participate in several clubs, which I hold leadership positions in, as well as the plays and musicals. Through all of my extracurriculars with my heavy course load, I have learned how to maintain balance between everything in order to put my best foot forward in all aspects.
