Audrey Rosenblum '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a three-sport varsity athlete and starter on the Radnor High School softball, basketball, and soccer teams. I keep myself busy through a balance of rigorous academics, varsity athletics, community engagement, and family/social life. While I love competing as a three-sport athlete, softball is my top priority. I am grateful for the skills I have developed in basketball and soccer, as they have helped me to become a better, faster, and smarter softball player.

I am also a disciplined student who pursues excellence in the classroom. By applying that same kind of discipline to softball, I have become an impact player on my high school and club teams, both offensively and defensively. Last spring, I led my high school team in most major offensive categories: RBIs, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage. Additionally, I was honored to receive several awards for my contributions to my high school team: Rookie of the Year Award (2015-16), Offensive MVP (2017), and 1^st Team All-Central League Infield (2017), 2^nd Team All-Main Line Infield (2017). And this past fall, my first season playing club softball, I earned the 2^nd highest batting average – 472 – on the team. 

In addition to playing in games and tournaments, I practice hitting and fielding two to three days per week and train regularly with a strength and conditioning coach. Although individual ability and achievement are important in every sport I play, the camaraderie I share with my teammates fuels my desire to compete and win. I strive to be a positive influence in everything I do, and I believe my coaches will tell you that I am a very driven player with a strong work ethic and true love of the game.
