Haley Hess '18 Recruiting Profile

    Hi coaches, 

        My name is Haley Hess. I have always dreamed to play softball in college. I have a love for the game that is unreal. I have worked since I was a little girl to become the best player I can be to enter the career as a softball player in the college level. I've watched softball on the tv for so many years and I have dream to be able to make it on there one day. I have had the chance to make many all-star teams and even go to the world series for the Senior league all-stars, but I want to make the dream of going and working hard to go and play at a college for softball.  

         My coaches and teammates see me as a leader on my team. I help any of the girls that ask questions or ask me to watch them to see if i can help them with what they could be doing wrong, so they could fix their possible problem. I am the type of teammate that brings energy to the practices, and games. I never give up even if we are losing in the bottom of the seventh inning. I give energy throughout the whole game. My parents see me as a player that communicates well with the coaches and players. They see me as a role model to the young players of softball and a leader on my teams I have played on.  They have made me into a person that believes every girl as an equal opportunity to become the best player they can be and I choose to help them in any way possible.

            I would love to be in a program that cares not only on my ability to play, but to help me if I get in a struggle with my academics. I want a program that keeps me active in training.  Building muscle as well as quickness. I want a program that is a big family in the end. I am a very competitive player and like to win, but I am humble with a loss. I want a program that gives its all every game and practice to give every player the opportunity to become better in their skills as an athlete.
