Taylor Parker '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Taylor Parker.  I am a 2013 graduate from Warrior Run High School in Turbotville,  Pennsylvania.  I have been the starting varsity pitcher from the beginning of my freshman year.  Some of my accomplishments this past year was being elected 2011 PA All State Pitcher (HM), 2011 1st Team AA Heartland Pitcher, and I  was voted "Player of the Year" in local newspapers.  I was also elected "Most Valuable Player" during my freshman and sophmore years due to my hitting and pitching, as well as one of the leaders of the team.  I enjoy the challenge when I step into the circle and take charge of the game. 

I also pitch and play shortstop for the 18U A SportsConnection Lady Wildcats out of Langhorne, Pa.  This is a very good, competative team that takes the game seriously and we play to our full potential while getting the most out of each and every game.  We have a very aggressive summer and fall schedule and we keep practicing throughout the winter months.  As a pitcher, I am always practicing and doing my drills during the softball season and continue with them in the off season.  It is my goal to become a starting pitcher for a Division I, II, or III school and would be willing to travel out of state if the opportunity arises.  I am undecided on what major I want to pursue at this time.  I have been researching several majors including Exercise Science, Nursing, Education, and Business.  I want to excel in the classroom while helping my softball team win that National Chamionship!
