Natalie Denton '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Natalie Denton. I'm a senior at Bolivar Central High School. I am 5'6" and weigh 138 pounds. I love to run and I am one of the fastest players on my team.  I was leadoff batter in high school this year because of my speed and ability to hit from both sides of the plate.  It is important for me to set the offensive tone early for my team. I have played every position in softball. My favorite position is catcher. I also enjoy playing outfield. I work hard and play hard because I love to play softball. Softball is very important to me because I feel like it is my game when I step up to bat, and my responsibility to make every play and try my best. I plan to study Veterinary Science. I hope to play at the college level anywhere. I will be very grateful for any oppurtunity to play in college!
