Jaycee Bullard '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Jaycee Bullard from Canton, Tx. Canton is a small town in East Texas, and I have been here my entire life. I am a 2024 graduate. I am currently starting pitcher as a Sophomore for Canton Eaglettes varsity team. I love softball, I have been playing as long as I can remember. I began with 3 friends learning to pitch around nine years of age, and have worked hard from that point on, regularly practicing and attending lessons. I stuck with it and put in the work, and it's all paying off. Current pitching information: RHP, total pitches, 6: fast ball, change up, rise ball, curve ball, screw ball, and drop ball. Drop being my weakest, and rise or curve strongest. Currently I have begun to learn an additional rise and change up, low rise, and flip change, which I plan to start using over summer tournament season. Currently my fastball average is 62 mph, and clocked high is 64 mph. I have also begun another new journey that is proving very rewarding in the form of teaching younger girls how to pitch. I am learning just as much as the girls are, it is helping me learn more as a player, and additional life skills. I really enjoy children, babysitting is another thing I do often. The next two years will be fun and exciting and I'm looking forward to the opportunities for my future. I am planning to go into dentistry possibly beginning as a dental hygienist. When I'm not at school, I really enjoy photography, and simply having time to myself. It lets me unwind and reflect.
