I am from Arlington, Texas. I started playing softball when I was around 7 years old. I was mainly a pitcher and outfielder at the time. But I moved to Illinois and played there for 2 years, even in the cold. I won my first 2 championships pitching and hitting. I was very excited to have had the opportunity to play and even win those games at such a young age. Then I was moved to Kansas and lived there for 5 years playing up to my Sophomore year. In Kansas my high school won state, and that is another moment in my life that had a huge impact. Then my junior year I moved back to Texas into Colleyville area. I played my junior year but now I am playing travel ball and focusing on my grades and pitching. When I moved here i got into a car wreck which messed up my life. But I learned that when time is tough that I need to push through to the other end and come out a stronger person. That can conquer anything in my way. I can have something so bad happen but still end up striving for my goals. I never will give up on something that I love. Softball is a passion, its your heart, its something that you love and will never want to leave. Softball has become a piece of me ever since I was younger playing in my hometown. I am the graduating class of 2020, and go to Colleyville Heritage High School. I pitch right handed and bat right handed. I am focusing on throwing a fastball, change-up, drop ball, off speed, and a moving pitch which is a 2 finger fastball.
Thank you, Mackenzie Cessop
