My name is Katie Poppe. I am an outgoing athlete that attends Lake Dallas High School in Corinth TX. My graduation year is 2024. I play on the Lake Dallas High School varsity team. I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old. Currently, I am playing select softball for American Freedom National 05. While being primarily a middle infielder/catcher, my versatility allows me to perform at a high level no matter where I play defensively. Offensively, I am a patient line-drive hitter with a high on-base percentage.
Academically, I am a 4.00 student taking AP courses. My primary field of study is medical. Ultimately, I would like to be in the medical field. Through the years, I have played multiple sports while my main focus athletically has been softball.
As I strive to play softball in college, I will continue to conduct myself with respect and honor on and off the field.
