I started playing baseball when I was three years old and then at eight, was introduced to softball. It was slightly challenging to transition from hardball to softball, but I immediately fell in love with the game once I got the hang of it. I love the intensity, the cohesiveness with my teammates, and most of all, the fun of it. My dream is to be able to play softball in a competitive and successful program in college. I would like to be a part of a program where I am afforded the opportunity to compete for my position. I take every challenge head-on, and I believe that I have the right attitude to face them when presented in front of me. When others tend to underestimate me because of my size, it fuels my motivation to compete even harder. All I ask is an opportunity.
