Natalia Cardenas '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

I am Natalia Cardenas(2021), a RHP from Providence Catholic School in San Antonio, Texas. I have a 3.3 GPA. I am dedicated to learning and improving my skills. 

I haven't always wanted to play softball in college. In 2017 I discovered my passion for softball when I noticed that I will give my all to my team. I've been the Starting Varsity Pitcher going on 4 years now.  Playing this game gives me freedom and makes me feel like there's nothing else to worry about except for my family on the field. When something doesn't feel like just a game or a hobby anymore, that's when you know it becomes a way of life and you know you can become more.

As Covid-19 hit Spring Sports hard, I didn't think I would miss softball so much. I missed the rush it gave me. Although I couldn't go practice with my team, I never stopped thinking about playing. I started to focus on what I could do to better myself and come out stronger for the next season. I work out every day at 2:30 PM by Lifting, Running, Hitting and Pitching (1-2 a week).
