I am a 2023 graduate that plays outfield. My #1 position is Centerfield. I was introduced to softball by a friend in elementary school. I will forever be grateful to her as I fell in love with sport before our first game was over. I play comp and high school softball as well as participate in as many clinics as I can. I put the knowledge that I learn into play with my team and at home practices. I am an athlete that is dedicated, motivated, and loves competition! I strive for more, always trying to do better than I did yesterday. Over the years I have learned a few things from playing softball as well as my parents: practice doesn’t make you perfect…it continues to make you better, there is always room for improvement, your team is your family, you depend on and support each other, you win and lose together, and even if you have the talent - hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
Aside from softball my other passion is animals. Along with taking care of 3 crazy dogs at home, I volunteer at my local animal shelter and want to ultimately end up as a licensed wildlife rescue and rehabilitation expert. I love learning and all things science! I am working towards getting as many of my college credits as I can before I graduate high school as well as completing some internships. Then off to college to continue to expand and grow my knowledge in my prospective field as well as play softball. After that I would love to do a veterinary residency in Australia so I can eventually spend my time working with wildlife. Who knows maybe someday I will be the next Crocodile Dundee (minus the awesome accent of course) OR run my own animal sanctuary/rescue. I want to make a difference and teach others along the way.
