When I was young, my parents always put me in soccer. For years I begged them to let me play softball. Finally at age ten, my parents gave in and signed me up for the city’s softball league. I worked hard on that team to help them take the state championship for the next four years. Now, seven years later, my love for the sport has grown and so has my abilities.
As a utility player, I have experience playing at every position. My coaches use my versatility to play me where the team can benefit the best. I’m fast at second base where I make plays anywhere between shallow center field and the first base fence. I have quick hands at third base; I have a lot of range at shortstop; I’m good at digging out throws at first base; and I’m a very athletic outfielder. I’m extremely dedicated bringing enthusiasm and spirit to my team. I lead by example by being the first one at the field, the last one to leave, and working hard in between.
Academics are very important to me as well, and I’m currently ranked number one in my school with a 4.0 GPA. I’m in an early college program, and I'll graduate high school with an Associate of Arts Degree from Utah Valley University in 2019. I am looking for a university that has a solid softball program and will allow me to continue my education by getting a Bachelors in Graphic Design or 3D Animation. With that in mind, I am open to division and to location. I love this game and I want to play it for as long as possible.
