Personal Statement
I’m absolutely driven to get a college education and work to secure a better future for me and my family. My mom and dad struggled for years and the message they’re always encouraging me to go after is better education. When I go to college I’ll be only the 3rd member to even attend college. My dad worked full time at two jobs while taking a night class at the community college only occasionally for over 10 years until he finally got his associates. He's always asking me about math at school because he says math is super important. He inspires me to put in work and do what needs to be done before I can have fun. My mom promises me if I learn to enjoy the work fun happens along the way. I already see it in high school. I love my family so much for everything they have done for me and my siblings. My sisters and brother are the best examples as well.
