Hailey Runyon '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Hailey Runyon and I'm a junior at Hockinson High School . My main goal is to attend a 4 year college. My major is still undecided. I also would love to have the opportunity to continue my softball career at the collegiate level . I believe in being a leader. Leaders are easily identified on a team—not only by my attitude but the drive to make a teammate better than myself. Everyone needs that positive influence in the dugout, and I enjoy contributing to the positivity. This aspect of myself differentiates my attitude in comparison to other players . From an acedemic stand point, I work very hard for my grades, unlike others, where school comes easy for them . I attended a private college prep catholic school from pre-3 up until 7th grade, which taught me great habbits to help me succeed. I'm an easy 3.5 grade average student . This also differentiates me from other recruits, because I understand what hard work takes, whether that be in school or on the field .
