Personal Statement
My name is Taylor Bell and I am a 5'3" pitcher from Curlew, WA and I will graduate in June, 2012. I was asked to join Curlew High School's varsity softball team when I was an 8th grader, and I have been a starter and captain my 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade years. I was voted MVP my 10th and 11th grade years, and in 2011, our team took first in the Regional Championships.
I do realize that I started the recruiting process late, but it has been my dream since I was very young to pursue softball well into my college years. I am the first one on the field, and the last one to leave, and I would consider myself an extremely hard woker. As of right now, I'm not sure exactly what I want to pursue as a major in college, but I definitely have some ideas and am open to many new opportunities once I enter my freshman year. Ideally, I would like to live close to Washington state, but am completely open to any college in the nation. I would love to make a positive impact on my team, and find that perfect balance between on the field and in the classroom.
