Gabriella Bombach '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bella Bombach and I am a 16-year-old, 5'5, 115lb shortstop for the Snohomish Shock. I will graduate in 2023. College softball has been an aspiration of mine for as long as I can remember. Now that I am old enough to start planning my college journey, I am excited and motivated to accomplish my goal of playing college softball.  I am a hard worker both on and off the field and am extremely dedicated to my academics and to softball.  In the classroom, I am a committed student and have earned a 3.93 cumulative GPA while taking honors and advanced placement classes.  On the field, I am the captain of my high school team and a proven leader for my travel club. I believe in putting my team before myself and have proven this by stepping in to pitch for my high school team when my starting pitcher was injured. Having never pitched before, this was totally new and I was out of my comfort zone. It gave my teammates and me the opportunity to have a softball season. When the season ended, I was chosen for the All-Conference Second Team for my performance on the field and at the plate.
