I started playing softball at the age of 8 and have loved it from the very first day. After playing select/travel ball for the past 5 years, I have realized that I have strong goals and aspirations to play this sport at the highest level. My top goal is to attend an academically strong school, while still playing competitive softball. I fell in love with this sport at a very young age, and it has never stopped teaching me lessons that I can apply to all aspects of my life. That is one of the reasons why I love softball, I feel that there is always something to learn and it is constantly challenging me to become a better athlete and person. I am a great candidate for a collegiate softball team as I am always trying to improve and learn both on the field and academically, I have a very strong work ethic, am a solid team player and I have achieved academic success as a 4.0 student. In school I push myself by taking advanced classes and being successful in these takes organization, responsibility, and determination which I am willing to continue in my academic future. I also want to be the first person in my family to graduate from college.
Throughout my softball career I have had many on the field accomplishments, such as being invited to be a part of team USA and play softball overseas in Australia( summer 2018), playing in the LLWS with 2 walkoff hits, leading my travel team in RBI's(54) & HR's(4) for the 2016 season and becoming a varsity starter on my high school team as a freshman. However, I never stop trying to improve my skills, and every year I am getting better. My teammates and coaches can always count on me to give my best in everything I do, and I love to compete. As an athlete on a competitive softball team, I have constantly had to work to keep my spot and this has taught me a lot about myself, and the determination I posses. Overall, softball has become one of the most important things in my life and it has shaped me into the person I am today, and I know that the perseverance and competitiveness I bring to the field will take me far in life.
