Hello! My name is Noeli Schutten. In college and after high school, I do know I'd like to do something within the medical field and as of right now, I'm leaning towards Medical Lab Scientist. I love to interact with people and I found that I have a knack for biology and chemistry. I'd also love to be doing something to help people.
I have only been playing softball for 5 years. I played 2 years on a rec team and this was my third summer (2023) of travel softball. I may have started late, but I have true passion for this game and am willing to put in the work to play at a competitive level. Coming from a sport where it was individual and you had to be quiet, being on a team really is the place for me. I love being able to celebrate our personal, and team wins. Having the opportunity to be a part of another family is truly a blessing, which I hope to carry on into my college years! Truthfully, I spend my extra time with my family, and friends and doing whatever drills I come across to make me a better player for my team and myself. My main position is a catcher but am willing to play wherever I am needed. I am always the loudest one on the field no matter where I am, and you can always hear me from deep center, to home.
While I'm looking forward to the next 2 years of high school softball and travel ball, I'm also always looking ahead and I'd love for softball to still be a big part of my life in college.
