Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Danica Nolte and I am a Junior at Middleton High School.  I play softball for both Middleton High School and Madison Revolution Fast Pitch U18- Rank team.  I have experience playing all nine positions, but I mainly play outfield and occasionally I pitch.  I am a power hitter who can also lay down a bunt.  I thrive in stressful game situations. I am a very dedicated student and athlete.  I have been a part of the National Juniors Honors Society and have been on the honor roll since 6th grade.

My plans for college are to play softball and study to become a teacher who specializes in early childhood education, mainly 4K and Kindergarten.  I strive to become the best player that I can be both mentally and physically.  I am a person that people can turn to both on and off of the field.  I will put the work and effort in so that I can improve for myself and for the team.  When things get hard I won’t stop trying, I will try and try again until I get it.

Even though I am very competitive and always want to win, I enjoy the game and that is the most important thing in sports.  If you want to play a competitive sport you have to love the game.  With softball I have gained many friends who have become like sisters to me.  It is important to me to build that bond with my teammates because when you get to know each other you start to trust one another.  When you trust one another off the field you can trust them on the field too and you can’t win if you don’t work together as a team.  I love playing with these girls because they love the sport just as much as I do and have the mindset to enjoy the game but also want to win.  Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and get to know a little more about me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
