June 2013Personal Statement
I am a 5'8" pitcher (3rd base secondary position) from Monticello, WI. I have started on the Monticello High School Varsity team for 3 years. My .591 batting average reflects the amount of time I dedicate to softball. My 3.716 GPA reflects my dedication to the classroom. I am a very hard worker and am always looking to improve. You can find me out on the softball field even when I have the day off. I am constantly talking about softball or watching it. To continue my softball career in college is something that I've always wanted to do. When I was younger I would always watch the College World Series and tell my parents, "I want to do that." Softball has always been my life and I love doing it and I wouldn't want to have it any other way.
I am looking for a school that will provide me with great opportunities in the classroom as well as the softball field. Ideally, I would like a program that I could make an immediate impact early in my career. I am interested in any geographical area in the U.S. I would like to major in Education. A college with this degree option would highly benefit me.
