Marissa Carter '22 Recruiting Profile

Softball is my heart.  I have been playing softball since T-ball when I was 6 years old. Fell in love with catching when I was 8.  I fell I love with the game the minute I stepped on the field for the first time. 

I enjoy playing year round, softball has made me the person I am today. It has taught me so much about life and myself. 

As I think of continuing to play softball in high school, through college and beyond, I have also started to think about what kind of career I would like and although I am undecided I putting alot of thought into it. 

I love the excitement and challenge of all sports, my favorite is definitely softball. A strong, close, encouraging team makes all the difference! Softball isn’t a one woman game; it is teamwork that makes us succeed and be the best we can be both on the field and off the field.
