My name is Jessika Milton and I am a senior at Tanner High School. I began playing varsity my freshmen year and has been a starter ever since. I am a leader on and off the court making sure to be a good example everywhere I go. That is a big reason as to why I want to play college ball. In my community many people have the talent and don't pursue it, but I want to be an example to everyone and show them there is life outside of Tanner. Plus, who wouldn't want to play a sport that they love while going to college. My role on the court is "play-maker". I open up opportunities for myself and my teammates. Many people underestimate me because of my height but I can score on anyone any size by getting to the rim or even by shooting. I showcased this ability when my teammates and I were on the road to state. I received the Northwest Regional MVP award and was also nominated for All-County and All-Area. Although we didn't win state, it was a season to remember and improve on.
