My name is Malena Goad. I live in Arizona, I play basketball for my high school. I'm a 5'7 shooting guard, I play all other positions as well. I was on the varsity team, and was also a starter. At the end of this years season i was honorably mentioned. What i would bring to your program is somebody who is mature, works very hard, loyal, and coachable. My long term aspiration is to go pro and play in the WNBA or go to school for sports medicine. Basketball is my passion, I'd like to attend a school that challenges me mentally and physically. I would also like to attend a school that has a competitive athletic program. I am very competitive player when it comes to basketball.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?
i am a leader, i push my teammates not to give up and play hard, i'm a quick learner and very coachable, and i'm competitive . im also able to play other positions well.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?
I put my team before myself so that the team as a whole is successful, i will give my all, i have good passing skills, im very fast, i am strong on physical defense but in my opinion i need to work more on that. i hope that one day i have opportunities to play for a college team or even professionally. Basketball is the sport i have love for.
