Xena Benitez '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Xena Benitez and I play for my school at  North Pointe Preparatory.  As Captain of my team I help motivate my teammates move the ball and shoot then just have are main shooter be shooting all the time. I also help my team by shutting down the the opposing team offense to give them less second chances on shooting by playing aggressive defense no matter if they are taller ,shorter, bigger or a better player than me.My whole goal is to help my team play together as a family and also put points on the scoreboard to help my team reach the goal we want to achieve. As a person and a player I make sure to never show my fear and always handle a rough situation head on. Moreover, On my club team I frequently improve my basketball skills and always listen to guidance and recommendations, anything to help me improve on and off the court. Handling grades , a sport , and any other activities in school are hard to maintain your grades above a 3.5 grade average however, i have made sure to maintain my grade at a 4.0  while handling basketball and any other activities I`m participating in.
