Stuart Burkhardt '23 Recruiting Profile

I've played organized basketball since the age of 7. Weather it was with the YMCA, AAU Club Teams, Junior High Teams, or High School at the Varsity Level, I have excelled in each league no matter the competition. This has come from winning MVP in Camps, Being the Highest scorer in my Region in Varsity Basketball, and having a successful Career throughout my youth. I go to North Pointe Prep in Glendale, Arizona which is a small charter school in the 2A level. Even with being a small school with limited resources and coaching staff changes in the middle of my 2021-2022 season my Junior year of Highschool I became the highest ppg scorer in the school's history. My Junior year I amounted 340 points in 17 games which came out to 20ppg which is number 1 in my region(2A Central) Number 3 in the 2A Conference and the 16th highest of all Juniors in the State of Arizona. Scoring isn't all that I excelled at though with myself being number 5 in rebounds as a guard, and tied for 4th with my teammate Jonathan Lindsay, 1st in Free Throws Made, and 2nd in 3 pointers made. Moving away from stats I've been the Varsity Captain since my Freshmen Year and with the struggle of covid-19 and different coaches staffs I have been able sustain the program and excel in my position. I think with a coach who believes in my talents and hard work, a proper facility and me pushing myself to be the best I can be. I will be a great piece to any division or program that takes me.
