Natalie Derla '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to develop as a college athlete and seek greater opportunities for my basketball career and education after my first year.

I am a dedicated player to any team I am apart of. I believe in showing my commitment by portraying a moral character and leadership on and off the court. I am a player of communication, and love to express details I may see on the floor to engage with my team or coach, as well as receive critiques to become a better player and teammate. I work well under pressure by being a smart playmaker, a head-strong teammate, and giving full effort and encouragement to my team during those close games.

What sets me aside from other athletes is not only my hard work ethic, but my shooting ability. I have great range and a consistent 3-point shot. I can be a great asset to the team by helping lead the offensive end. I am also, a very aggressive and hands on defender and I do well scoring or assisting off of that transition.
