In the summer of 2021, I played with a club league that made me the best player I had ever been and pushed my limits. It was 90° and higher, and we played outdoor on the asphalt for multiple hours every single day. I was normally one of the two players that showed up to practice. We showed up because we wanted badly enough to get better. We worked our butts off, and those are the times that make or break how you play in games. I saw the difference in my playing, and my confidence in games. I became a better team player, a better individual player, and mentally a very confident player. That summer is when I realized that I loved working hard, having that hunger to get better, and that desperation to get results. Those are all things that can be seen in my playing ability. What I learned: Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
