Sachi Urushima '24 Recruiting Profile

Growing up, I was always a competitive kid, so it was no surprise that I gravitated towards sports at a young age. Ever since I joined my first basketball team in second grade, my love for the game only continued to grow. From my first team to my current team, the one thing that has never changed is my consistency and effort I give on the court. I go into every game with the mindset that it’s going to be my last and have learned that consistency leads to becoming a reliable player.

As much as I value who I am on the court, I also value who I am in the classroom. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and continue to dedicate my time to being a good student. My goal is to find a college that is a good fit for me both athletically and academically, as I believe both are equally as important. I believe that I have what it takes to play in college because I am a coachable player who displays qualities of high work-ethic, leadership, and good character.
