Ever since my day of birth, the game of basketball has been in my life. I grew up and am still growing up in a basketball centered household. My father has coached the game my whole life, thus giving me the exposure I needed to fall in love with the game I play today.
As an athlete, more specifically a basketball player, I have an incredible amount of dedication to the game. I put in countless hours of practice with my school/travel team. I also put in practice on my own time, pushing myself in the areas of the game where I know I can improve. I am an exceptional shooter, and play aggressive towards the basket. I hustle not only on the offensive end, but maintain the grind defensively as well. As a teammate, I present myself as a leader, both vocally and through my actions. I am encouraging and uplifting, but mean business and force my teammates to be better.
Academically, I partake in classes that will also excersize my mind. Honors, AP, and accelerated classes are my way of pushing myself to be a successful student-athlete. I maintain a high GPA, while also being involved around campus in other extra-curriculars.
Playing college ball, and keeping the title of a student-athlete at the next level has been a long-term goal for me. One I know I can achieve. My options to the college I am to attend are completely open, however, I aim to go to a college that challenges me not only in the game, but in the classroom as well. The handwork and dedication I present as a recruit to playing at the next level will not disappoint.
