Amanda Lopez '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Amanda Lopez, I’m 17 years old, and I’m currently a senior at Reedley High School in California. I have been playing soccer since the age of 3 and I made my club debut at age 10. In addition to playing club soccer since 10, I have played indoor soccer with my own age, as well as with adults as I got older, and I began playing in adult leagues when I was 12 years old. I believe that I’m a great recruit for your team because I strive to be the best I can be, not only as an individual player but as a team player. My desire to be the best takes place in every aspect of my life, including school, of which I’ve taken honors and AP classes since my freshman year. In addition to athletics and academics, I’m involved in helping run soccer clinics for ages ranging from 3-8, and I train with my sisters’ U-16 team to help them improve too.  My passion in soccer has always been shown and proven in which coaches I’ve had, have made me captain and they tell me I’m a “general of the field” since I’m constantly, positively directing and helping my teammates.
