One of my biggest philosophies I believe in is that communication is important when you are part of a team. I often communicate that to my teammates and encourage them to stick together and learn to lean on each other in crucial times. My role is valued on my club and High School teams because I keep up the intensity and keep the team together in defense and offense.
Often when I am faced with pressure I remind myself of all the hard work that been building up to this moment and go with my instincts. Also with being disappointed in my own game I stay calm and try to pick goals in other aspects of my game to help my team.
In college I academically want to obtain a great education in the fields I may want to pursuit after basketball like psychology and or computer science.
Basketball is really important to me because it’s been a major part of my life and really shaped me into the person I’ve become today. I aspire to get stronger physically, become more mentally tough, and push myself to the limit in college basketball.
I want to be an asset to a college coaches program to achieve their goals that align with mine, be in an environment of high competitiveness, and to be willing to be placed in any position necessary to help the team.
