Emily Shaw '24 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a huge part of my life ever since I was really little, and I have grown tremendously from this sport. It has taught me how to be a better teammate and person on and off the court. I learned the true meaning of sacrifice, hard work, and dedication. I consider myself a great teammate because I bring positive energy and I help/encourage my teammates to be their very best and try to make an impact in every possible way that I can. I can shoot the 3, take it in to the basket, and defend. I have a high IQ on the court, and I am able to find my open teammates. Not only do I take athletics very seriously, I do very well in the classroom and am a strong student, academically. As a two-sport athlete, I am very committed to use my work ethic to succeed in life as well as sports.
