Personal Statement
My name is Kia Rhodes, a 2008 HS Graduate, currently playing at Kishwaukee College. I am a gym rat who loves to play basketball. I am looking to use my leadership & coachable skills as a point guard. Currently, I have a 3.0 GPA and I am the team captain. While at Kishwaukee, I was ranked 46th in the Nation for steals in 2008, I was named to the NJCAA Region 4 All-Region 2nd Team in 2008, I was awarded Defensive Player of the Year for the 2009-08 season, in December 2008 I was picked as the Region 4 player of the week and I was selected as the WBCA 2009 State Farm Coaches JC/CC All-American HM. I am a very competitive person that comes from a winning program and is looking for a program that will push me to my ultimate potential. I have a strong interest in Corporate Law and Finance.
