Samantha Rockney '23 Recruiting Profile

Some of my goals and aspirations for college are to go to a four year college to get a degree in political science while playing for their collegiate basketball team. Ever since I was young, I've dreamed of playing college basketball and continually worked as hard as I could to get there and achieve that goal. I am hard working, I persevere through any tough situation, and finally, I work well with others to get a job done. Not only will I be a good teammate on the court, I will be the best person I can be off the court as well. To me, school is just as important as sports, if not more so. I've balanced playing basketball and other sports my whole life while being a good student. I'm good at managing my time even during the busiest of days by putting everything I have into everything I do, like school and basketball. All in all, I would be a great asset to the team not only by how I play, but by encouraging my teammates on and off the court.
