I have grown up in the same small town throughout my life. It has been my dream to play basketball in college for quite some time now. From the time I was in sixth grade, I wanted to move up and I couldn't wait to play in high school. Two weeks after I graduated eighth grade I was playing with girls that were going to be seniors. At the end of my freshman season, I am already excited to extend my career into college.
I am a very well rounded athlete. Throughout my life I have played basketball, soccer, softball, track, cross country, volleyball and was a gymnast for almost 10 years. My freshman year I was the number one runner on my cross country team and placed 43rd in the state finals. I then went on to play basketball, starting on the varsity team. We then finished our season with a 19-9 record. Which was the best record our organization had in 6 seasons. I was not the leading scorer, but was second behind a senior who is going on a full ride scholarship to UMSL who also made the all state team. I did not make first team all conference but did receive honorable mention. I am now starting on the varsity soccer team, who has won regionals the past two years. Also, over the summer I will continue to play in a travel softball league. My intention at the moment is to continue to be a three sport athlete throughout all four years.
I am also in every honors class I have the opportunity to be in. I am a very big people person that always has an upbeat attitude and l get along with a very wide variety of people. I love the game of basketball and I would give up almost anything to continue to play this game.
