"Basketball is Life," okay I may have copied and adjusted this quote from an episode or two from Ted Lasso, but it holds true for me. Basketball is my passion. When I am on the court, my mind is clear. It helps me release all the stress from the day and brings out my confident side. I am determined to get better every day, as I believe hard work and consistent practice are the ways to achieve your goals.
Coaches tell me that my strongest asset is my grit. I am not the tallest player on the floor, but I will not be outworked. Defense creates offense, and I know when my offensive game is not at its best, I rely on my defense to ensure I can contribute to the team no matter how many points I put up in a game.
My goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level, where I can contribute to a team and ensure I remain dedicated to my academics .
