Anne Rylea Thurman '27 Recruiting Profile

My passion is basketball and my goal is to play college basketball and pursue my degree.  I'm undecided on what my major would be.  I am a gym rat with strong work ethic and am very coachable.  I have a high basketball IQ since my parents and brother both played college basketball and have taught me what it takes to be a college athlete and how to be a good teammate and student - athlete.  I am a 4.0 student and will be taking the ACT soon for the first time.  I started varsity as an 8th grader and have 737 points and have made 162 threes in my first two years on varsity.  I play AAU for the Mississippi Jazz Elite 2027 and participated in events such as Run 4 Roses, Apache Memorial, Capital Cool Classic, Clash of Clubs, The National Championship, and Orlando Splash, just to name a few.  I've attended showcases and been evaluated and featured by scouts Asher Scouting (Mason Asher), Jr. All-Star Basketball, Prep Girls Hoops, Rising Blue Star, BTN Scouting.   I"m currently ranked by Geeker Rankings in Mississippi as the #12 player in Class of 2027.  I have a current offer from NCAA D2 Missisiippi College who competes in the Gulf South Conference.
