My name is Jakera Ducksworth and I'm a 5'9" guard from Laurel, MS. I'm a 2025 graduate and I currently have a 3.4 GPA. I've been playing basketball since the young age of 5. Hard work, leadership, and dedication are very important aspects to me. I'm a athlete who knows and LOVES the game of basketball. My most important accomplishments were being nominated for MVP in the state championship game as a sophomore, All-District Team, All-state second team, and All-Academic team. I have been playing varsity basketball as a starter at my high school since my freshman year.
Knowing that I'm capable of playing basketball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and know that giving up is NEVER an option. When it comes to choosing what school I would like to attend my options are very big. I'm mainly looking at southern states (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, etc), but I am very open to going anywhere.
