MaKenzey Boyer '19 Recruiting Profile

  Hello! My name is MaKenzey Boyer. I prefer to go by Kenzey. I am 17 years old. I will be a senior at Kingston High School in Cadet Missouri for the 2018-2019 school year. I love sports. I play varsity Basketball, Volleyball and Softball. I am very athletic and strong willed. I am determined to do my best on and off the court or field. I give sports my all. I am hoping to become the captain for all three sports this year. As a junior I made second team all conference for basketball. The only girl at my school to have this accomplishment!! My goal this year is to make first team! 

  Basketball season for the last few years has been pretty great for myself. I have been improving on all my skills. My coach and team are proud to have me. I am the lead scorer for my team for my junior year and was in the top 3 scorers for my sophomore year. My school is on the small side, so I play where I am needed. I can play center and jump for the tip off, play shooting guard and sink threes or go in for a lay up, I can steal the ball on defense and help add points with a lay up. I play the point guard and bring the ball down when our team is being pressed.  I feel like I am a leader to my team and help show the younger girls the ropes. 

 Although I don't have experience outside of playing in a school setting or with friends, I would love to join your team. I feel like I am making a name for myself in rural Washington County Missouri. I have a passion for basketball and would love to stay in the field even after high school and college. I think I would love to be a basketball coach in my future.
