Sarah Lester '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sarah Lester but everyone calls me Sarah Belle.  I am a 6'1" HS Senior with 150 pounds of basketball desire and 150% effort.  I've been playing varsity ball since I was a freshman and have started every game since I was a sophomore.  I have recieved honors of second team all- conference, first team all- conference, all- state tournament team, Most Improved, and MVP.  This past summer I played on the Big Sky Hoops AAU team. In my last AAU game during the summer, I finally achieved a triple double.  I feel as good about a great assist as I do when I make a key shot.  I am a natural leader of my fellow teammates as well as classmates. 
I've been playing the sport of basketball since I was eight years old.  It was taught to me by my father who, even to this day, plays the sport competitively.  It has always been my dream to play the sport I love in college no matter where that may be.  I've traveled to many places across the country and know what a big and beautiful place it is.  I am open to attending any four year university big or small. 
Although I enjoy the sciences, I would like to study Law and Public Policy.  Growing up in Frenchtown, Montana, I am a big fish in a small pond.  My goals as a college athelete are to continue to develop my complete game, hone my skills, and contribute to the success of every player.
