As a high school athlete aspiring to become a college athlete, I want to be able to attend a school where I will have the opportunity to compete at a high level. I am, and have always been, very competitive, driven, and I strive for success not only for myself, but for my teammates and coaches. I like to push myself past what I think I am capable of doing and past my comfort zone. I always make sure to have a voice whether I am on or off of the court. Encouraging my teammates has always been something I have endeavored to do. I have built strong relationships with my teammates in the classes in front of and behind me. On my off-court time, I dedicate a lot of energy to my studies and my involvement in community service activities. Although I am a three sport athlete (volleyball, basketball, and track), with so much time devoted to athletics, my grades continue to be my priority. As of now, I am sitting at a cumulative GPA of a 3.9. I pride myself in the effort I have put forth to excel in the classroom. Through my involvement in National Honors Society, I have acquired different skills and attributes which have greatly enhanced my character. I have been a year-round athlete for most of my life, and I believe I have attained many diverse skills that will allow me to achieve success competing at a high level of college athletics.
