Playing basketball has taught my how to work hard and stick to something in the game and life. I wasn't always the greatest when I was younger in fact I didn't know if I would make the "A" team my seventh grade year. My Dad always told me if I stuck with it and worked hard enough I could be great. So I started working on my skills in the basement dribbling every night. At first my Dad had to remind and encourage me but then more I did it the better I got. Then I experienced sucess and wanted more and more. My training has taken me to another level. I now feel sick if I don't do my dribbling or shooting work out everyday. Every year I have improved over the off season due to my work ethic and drive to improve. Getting a varsity spot my freshman year brought tears to my eyes but left me wanting more. I want to continue to improve and grow as a player with a goal of winning state before I graduate.
