Sports have always been a big part of my life. I started playing basketball before I can remember and I have been in love with the game ever since. I use my leadership and communication skills, developed in basketball and as a starting setter in volleyball, to organize and help my team. This past season, my basketball team was ranked number one all classes in Nebraska and won third place at state. The competition was extremely tough and playing through the season and the state tournament took great endurance, determination, and teamwork.
My best attributes include scoring (3 pt, pull up jumpers, and getting to the rim), leadership, communication, coachability, selflessness, toughness, versatility, determination and tenacious defense. My goal when playing defense is to make whoever I am guarding wish they were on the bench.
I am searching for a school that I can excel at basketball and in the classroom, to create new friendships, and to contribute to something bigger than myself.
