I am a 5'10 SG about to begin my senior year at Union High School in Union, N. J. . I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year where I was the only freshman on the team. During my freshman and sophomore years, my high school team had 1000 point players. I was a team player in middle school, but with teammates who were able to score, I was able to focus on defense which is what I pride myself on and on making assists. I have strong ball handling skills, mental toughness, an ability to read the floor, accuracy in my passing game and a high basketball IQ. One of my greatest strengths is my situational awareness on the court. While I love all aspects of the game, my favorite is a clean blocked shot. I am a team leader, direct the defense, and try to lead by example.
I am looking for a college that has a strong academic program along with a competitive women's basketball program. I am interested in some area of health science so I am currently taking two college courses, “The Nature of Science” and “Addiction.” Ideally, I would like to play Division 1 basketball at a smaller college or university.
