Samantha Henderson '24 Recruiting Profile

I can remember playing basketball since I was 6 years old, every time I step on the court I always strive to be better when I leave the court. Having this opportunity could change my life. I will give 110% in the classroom and on the court. 

I have strong ball handling skills, physical toughness, high percentage in shooting, and I always like to lead by example. I am one of the hardest working players you will find because I always was taught that you have to work for what you want, nothing will be handed to you. I have constructed workouts each summer to get better with each of the skills I will use on the court. 

In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I was inducted into the National Honors Society. I also volunteer at youth basketball games and at my local church. Being a student-athlete has been a big part of my life over the years. I continue to balance my grade as well as excel in sports.
