I started playing basketball going into middle school and quickly fell in love with the sport. Even at a young age I knew I wanted to pursue it. Since then I’ve been training hard and pushing myself to achieve new skills with a mindset of “first one on the court and last one off it.”
I am a strong player in the paint while also being a consistent shooter. I efficiently rebound on offense and defense. I have a high basketball IQ which allows me to adapt to in game situations. I try to demonstrate leadership on and off the court through communication and encouragement. My tireless work and dedication not only betters me, but my teammates as well.
I carry my principles of hard work and focus into school. I maintain a high GPA while taking college level courses. I take part in academic programs such as the NYU Pre-Law Course. When I can, I do volunteer work such as helping local youth basketball teams.
My goal is to become part of a college program where I can utilize my skills in a challenging and stimulating environment, while building the success of my team. I hope to play at the highest level of competition possible and become a role model to those around me.
