Mercy Appiah '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Mercy Appiah and I am a forward/ center for Seward Park Campus. As a student athlete I think it’s important that you are able a student first and an athletes second. I believe that you have to work just as hard on the court as you do in the classroom. I have been passionate about basketball for most of my life and I have been blessed with great opportunities and friendships along the way . I will be a great addition to your team because I love to get know new people and build bonds that last forever and basketball there is no better sport to do that in. In basketball j also believe leadership is important and I have learned that when my coach made me captain as a sophomore for a varsity team because if one person fails we all fail. My collegiate goals are to gain my bachelors degree in my desired major and follow the plan God has intended for me.
