Sky Kind '20 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a huge part of my life since I was 5 years old. Some of my best memories have taken place on the court and I can't imagine not playing basketball after I graduate high school. I love being part of a team, seeing myself and my teammates grow as players, and most of all I love dedicating time and energy to something I am so passionate about. I also love improving through my hard work. I have been a starter on every school team I have played and most of my club seasons. I also played on my high school team when I was in 8th grade and was a starter there as well. I was been nominated and attended a sports leadership program for 2 years in a row called Strive (Sports Challenge Leadership Academy). There, we learned about positive growth mindsets, healthy team culture, and effective leadership. The most important thing I would want a coach to know is how dedicated I am to improvement; I am always looking for ways to get better and improve my game.
