Gabriella Ramos '21 Recruiting Profile

When I think about college the first thought that comes to my mind is here I am out of six siblings the first one to go to college. My aspirations in life and for college overall is to become a surgical nurse and to get out of the city. Being in the medical filed has always been something I wanted to do since I was younger. I like to help others and also care for them. The next thought is sneakers on, jersey over my head, time to hit the court. New school, more classes, and more opportunities presented ahead. I am looking forward to starting my education in the medical field and also playing basketball in college. A great player is not based on solely points and who's in starting 5. To be a good player its about going the extra mile. Learning new things about yourself and pushing yourself beyond your limits. I make sure that when I step on a court that I don't bring my personal issues that would effect my performance. You need awareness when playing the game ,no matter how many minutes your given on the court. What makes me stand out from others is that I know how to be committed to the game and I don't easily give up. I know that not everything is easy or going to be smooth sailing. I am ready and committed to bring to a team everything I have to offer and more.
